We are Grand Plumbing & Heating based in Hethersett and operate in a 15 mile radius of the town.

We carry out our own property renovations, which is a real passion of ours. By doing this we have not only broadened our property knowledge and experience, but also we truly understand what it means to live in a property whilst work is being carried out. Installation of new/replacement Gas Boilers and/or Heat Pumps along with servicing and repairs are all well within our level of expertise.  So much so that we’ve been appointed approved installers for Baxi and Vallant gas boilers, and approved partners for Mitsubishi and Daikin heat pumps.  For you the customer that means you get up to five years guarantee on a heat pump, instead of one year, and ten years guarantee on gas boilers, as opposed to the standard five years.

    The Team

    Hello, I’m Guy – I’ve always had a keen interest in construction which led me to start a four year apprenticeship in plumbing and heating when I was 16 years old. During my 14 years employed as a plumbing & heating engineer, I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience across the industry. I gained my gas qualifications in both domestic and commercial gas by completing a further year of training, and after many years of enjoying my work and expanding my experience, I then went onto to further my expertise by completing my training in air source heat pumps. I’ve worked in a wide range of settings and have developed excellent customer service skills. I hold all required plumbing qualifications including NVQ2 and 3, water regulations and unvented hot water cylinders.

    I visit our customers (when necessary) to look at the work required, discuss with the customer their wants and needs and to look at the existing plumbing & heating which enables me to make the best recommendations based on my knowledge and experience. I’ll then carry out the work using all my experience to deliver the best quality work I can. I ensure your home is kept tidy and clean in my working area, and I’m always respectful of your surroundings.     Hi, I’m Nicole – Growing up around family in the construction industry and property renovation has meant I’ve always been interested in property, both repairs and improvements. This led to 10 years of employment as a property and repairs consultant and customer service team leader.  This gained me vast knowledge and experience of property, both in essential repairs and improvement works. As well as this, I hold excellent customer service as a priority in everything I do.

    I do all of the office work which includes enquiries, estimates, bookkeeping, accounting, bathroom design, ordering materials, diary management and so on.

    I am the point of contact for customers, from initial enquiry all the way through to completion of work. This ensures I answer all contacts quickly and professionally.

    I also carry out our bathroom designs, which often include Mira Showers and I love doing because I then work closely with the customer to understand exactly what they want and need to ensure the outcome is a bathroom they’re delighted with.

    Where materials are concerned I do a lot of research on each project to ensure the balance of “quality” and “value for money” is carefully considered.

    When a customer accepts an estimate, I will find a mutually convenient date and time for the work to be carried out.
